Dear Doctors Goodwill Foundation Board,
I just wanted to officially inform everyone that my time as President of the Doctors Goodwill Foundation has come to an end.
I spoke with Dr. Bhalani and informed him of the decision earlier this year and felt it was a good time to make the move now in 2021.
I am extremely proud to have been involved with such an amazing team who are committed to improving the lives of others. You all are remarkable individuals with caring hearts!
During these few years we have made significant contributions internationally and locally.
This includes promoting STEM learning, Science Fair scholarships, recognizing the contributions of the young and old with the DGF ambassador awards, coordinating events for a healthy day at the ballpark, hosting clinics, lectures and events to raise awareness of mental and physical issues in our community.
We’ve brought much needed awareness to Suicide prevention in our youth, the opioid crisis facing Brevard residents, childhood obesity, osteoporosis, HIV/Hepatitis treatments and testing, and much more. All the while, lending a hand or aid to international communities for disaster relief.
DGF has been instrumental in these causes and I am honored to have joined in these efforts alongside everyone!
DGF has taken me from the beaches of Brevard to the mountain of tops of Tibet, and has helped me grow as a person, physician, and a community leader.
I am truly grateful for the opportunity to be involved with this amazing team.
Thank you Dr. Bhalani for allowing me to join and be part of this amazing journey and to witness your vision for a better world. Sue, Gita Aunty, Naren Uncle, Barbara and Bhavin it’s been fun and exciting.
I look forward to what the future holds for the Doctors Goodwill Foundation and will continue to support in any way I can.
Thank you and Happy New Year to everyone!
