The September 27th observance of National Gay Men’s HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NGMHAAD) focuses on the disproportionate impact of HIV on gay and bisexual men in the United States — and what we can do in response.
We invite you to take action to recognize this impact. You could:
- Review the goals of Ending the HIV Epidemic: A Plan for America (EHE).
- Get familiar with the AHEAD dashboard that shows progress toward the EHE goals
- Talk about the epidemic and the issues that have grounded it since NGMHAAD was first marked in 2008. HIV.gov has content and service delivery information is available from HIV.gov and our federal partners such as our NGMHAAD page, our HIV Testing Sites and Care Services Locator and Ready Set PrEP program information.
- Get the facts on HIV prevention, care and treatment, and research efforts.
